Can it repair missing teeth or torn fabric?
No. This is a replacement slider. Missing teeth, torn tape and a damaged track require another repair.
Do I need to sew in a new zipper?
A compatible slider-only repair does not require sewing in a whole new zipper. Follow the original fitting guide.
What if it catches or the zipper still separates?
Stop and recheck the size, alignment and zipper condition. Do not force the slider or keep tightening it to compensate for an incompatible fit.
